ABOUT NATALEE GEERTS

Being an attorney is the way Natalee Geerts believes she can best serve others.

Natalee has always been a student—in and out of the classroom. She is constantly asking questions, not necessarily to challenge something, but simply to understand it more fully. She has also always been competitive, constantly striving to learn more and become a better version of herself. Quite simply, she believes practicing law hones her gifts and pushes her further toward her goals.

That drive shapes everything she does for her clients.

At Gallian Firm, Natalee supports the litigation department in representing businesses and individuals across a broad range of civil matters, including business and commercial disputes, construction defects, premises liability, personal injury, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, labor and employment issues, and other general liability claims.

Prior to joining Gallian Firm, Natalee practiced criminal defense, child custody, probate, estate planning, guardianship, and a variety of civil disputes ranging from personal injury to breach of contract to fraud and civil theft to property disputes. She has ultimately settled into civil law because she loves the art of crafting and working each case; no two civil cases are the same, and the approach taken is tailored to both the facts of the case and the desired result of the client.

Natalee cherishes the ability to guide and serve clients through particularly stressful moments in their lives. Providing clarity and helping a client reach their goals is, without question, the best part of practicing law for her. She was drawn to Gallian Firm because of its team-first, service-oriented culture, and its understanding that everything the firm does is ultimately in service of its clients.

Q&A’S WITH NATALEE

What brought you to this professional career path?

It started with reading Plato my freshman year of high school. I fostered my interest in history and discovered my interest in informal debate and philosophy. When discerning different career paths, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I felt I was able to really make a difference in people’s lives and help them. The combination of my interests and sense of service naturally led me to consider the law as a career path.

What do you enjoy most about working in the legal profession?

I cherish the ability to guide and serve others through a particularly stressful time in their life. Providing clarity and guidance to help a client reach their goals, and seeing their smile, relief, and at times, tears, is without question, the best part of working in the legal profession.

What are some of your hobbies outside of the office?

I love board games and card games, particularly as I’m known to be competitive. I also love to read—politics, philosophy, and historical fiction, especially dystopian novels. You’ll also find me outside, soaking in the sunshine, whether rollerblading, swimming, or just going for a walk with a friend.

Why did you join Gallian Firm?

I was drawn to Gallian Firm because they truly understand that our profession is one of teamwork, support, and service. They understand that everything we do is done for our clients, and it is because our work is in service of others that we strive for excellence and take pride in our work together.
